Easter Sunday 2011
Easter Sunday was once known only as the day Christ rose, now it is also the morning Easter Bunny visits.
Hot Cross Buns are enjoyed. Many give the gift of chocolate eggs to each other. Children enjoy easter egg hunts (inside on wet mornings, or on really hot mornings when the chocolate could melt!) Many go to church to observe this special day.
Families around the world get together and celebrate Easter Sunday and share a meal together. It is common in Australia to enjoy a roast lamb.
