The Yarra Valley Grape Grazing 2010 Festival has been postponed while organisers plan an alternate date, and possible changes to the event.

All those hens and bucks planning to combine a day in the country with their hens or bucks day at the Yarra Valley Grape Grazing will need to make alternative plans. The Yarra Valley Wine Growers Association (YVWGA) today announced plans to postpone the festival and did not provide a new date for 2010.
The 2009 Grape Grazing festival was cancelled and rescheduled after the tragic 2009 Black Saturday Bushfires devasted the area. The YVWGA said on its website it hoped to plan a festival for the Yarra Valley later in the year, away from the region's bushfire season.
Grape Grazing has been celebrated in the region for over 22 years. In recent years the event has become a huge tourism boon for the area. Wineries and cellar doors will still be open over the February weekends for you to visit and sample some of the Yarra Valley's fine sparkling wines, reds and whites.
A Day On The Green and other events in the Yarra Valley?
Rochford Winery is still hosting the A Day On The Green concert series. Events include Rob Thomas on February 20 and Tom Jones on March 7.
